Hiiumaa is a small island with a beatiful nature in the Baltic Sea.

Hiiumaa has a well-developed road network which is especially good for bicycle trips. 

An area of Hiiumaa is about 980 km2. A diameter of cross-shaped island is about 40 km and a longest linear distance between Sarve and Kõpu is 60 km. Hiiumaa has nearly 11 000 inhabitants, in the capital of Kärdla, there are nearly 4000 inhabitants.
